Pacifica is a duo formed by internet friends Ines Adam and Martina Nintzel in 2022 after a life changing trip to New York City where they got signed to LA label Tag Music. Based in Buenos Aires, the duo recently released their debut LP “Freak Scene”.

You guys have been blowing up on my instagram and I dig your stuff! I also love how dark some of your lyrics are in contrast with the instrumentation, touching on last kisses, angels falling away from their god, and nuclear annihilation. The guitar work in Stuck on You reminds me a little bit of Global Warming by Gojira, and makes me think of airports for some reason. All in all a good solid album, all tracks binding together well sonically.

Great material, great performances, and a truly muddy mess of a mix on most of the record. The drums are mostly just thuds in the distance. I still appreciate this band and hope that they'll work with better engineers in the future. I've heard some of these songs played live and they sounded so much better than they do here.
