Twinings: Crafted for India, steeped in Britain.
When a 300-year-old British tea house commissions four exclusive collections for a discerning Indian audience, it’s more than just packaging — it’s a cultural blend. This was our design challenge: to take the global soul of Twinings London 1706 and express it through packaging that feels emotionally resonant, gift-worthy, and distinctly rooted in experience.
The result?
Four curated collections with nine exquisite blends each — brought to life through vibrant illustrations, tactile storytelling, and an aesthetic language that balances heritage with modernity, and ritual with delight.
Each box doesn’t just contain tea. It contains a feeling.|
The Creative Thought:
At the heart of this project was one driving idea:
“Tea is not a drink. It’s a scene, a setting, a sentiment.”
We translated this into a visual language where every box becomes a world of its own — each character, each motif, each composition layer echoing a time, place, or emotion sparked by tea.
The artwork across the four boxes was unified by a shared sense of harmony, colour richness, and hand-crafted detailing— but each collection carried its own distinct narrative lens.
