CedarMount is an American food company that specializes in authentic products from the Levant region, particularly Lebanon and Syria. Their product range includes olive oil, pomegranate molasses, stuffed olives, vine leaves, and various other Mediterranean delights.
The vision was to create a packaging system that resembles a gift from home—something that conveys the warmth of family farms and the taste of tradition while also appealing to today’s modern market. The client desired a design that could reflect their story: “From our harvest to your table.”
Concept & Solution
The challenge was to bridge two worlds:
- The nostalgic charm of family heritage, farm life, and the authenticity of Levantine culture.
- A modern, contemporary look that connects with today’s consumer expectations.
To achieve this, I combined vintage-style illustrations that evoke the feeling of old family farms and homemade products with a clean and modern design system. This duality allows the packaging to feel rooted in tradition yet refined and fresh enough for international shelves.
Typography, color palette, and layout were carefully balanced to highlight the farm-to-table authenticity while keeping the overall appearance sophisticated and premium.
