3 days spent cutting it up to fit in my carry-on bag

On Norwegian airways...great current movies btw

A last blast up to 57th street to see Bergdorf's terrific windows.

I miss you Bergdorf windows. I miss Nathan's

Its nice the guys in the Apple store speak English

But other than that I felt most of the time like an ant 🐜

A lost ant in the canyons of. New York City

Sant Ambroeus

I HEART Sant Ambroeus big time I feel like this everytime I stop in Sant Ambroeus on 1000 Madison Ave. at 76th street. They're in the Village at 259th West 4th street.
Everytime I go to the Met it's compulsory to stop for a gelato...
They have 24 flavors ($3.00 for a single)

If you sit at a table (just like in Italy) it will cost you more ($4.50) Yes I'm addicted to gelato pistache

You can stand up at the bar and pay less (just like in Italy).

Sant Ambroeus has those little bite-sized sandwiches/panini (just like in Italy).

In the back they have a nice dining room

I LOVE looking in their pastry case. In my opinion there's either a French pastry chef lurking in the back.

Or someone who's done a stage at Pierre Herme in Paris.

They have an upscale version of tiamisu.

And your traditional Italian cookies/biscotti. Sant Ambroeus is a Milanese pasticceria/confetteria.

I'm not wild about traditional Italian biscotti but for this pretty Italian cookie box I'd commit hari-kiri. Wouldn't you?

I feel like a kid in Sant Ambroeus. Lick lick :)

Other times I feel like this lady(at the Met Infinite Jest show). After looking at all those scrumptous desserts I still always end up with the pistachio gelato.
BUON GIORNO SANT AMBROEUS!

Blooming New York!

Macaron Ladybug, art on Etsy, 9" x 11"
Lady bugs/ coccinelle are lucky in France. I hope they're lucky in New York. Because Park Avenue is littered with them from 57th street.
As well as giant pink roses for Spring.
Created by artist Will Ryan for the Parks Sculpture Commission.
Macy's Flowers Show is blooming with REAL flowers.
In Lalique's Madison Avenue windows the flowers are glass of course.
Jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels has flowers growing out of it's windows but the diamonds are kept safely behind the glass - quelle dommage.
Be sure to water your neckties!
Or why not sit down on a flower chair and eat off flower plates?
A floral purse...
To go with your Bergdorf's red flowered dress.
Or better yet, wear a pink rose at the neck with a dress of macarons from Macaron Cafe on 59th street.
They even put pistachio chips/bits on the outside!
These birdies were hankering after my macaron pistache, with or without chips.
BONJOUR BLOOMING NEW YORK!

New York Lights !

It's that time of year for a look at the Xmas lights. The big tree at Rock' Center seen in miniature from 5th Avenue.
Where your light on your Xmas tree as a skirt on Madison Avenue...
Or just hang your tree with many jeweled baubles.
Park Avenue always has a line of lighted trees adorning the street.
One blue-lighted tree on Madison Avenue.
Van Cleef and Arpels has holiday lights of another kind - a diamond necklace in a snow storm.
Cartier always has a big red lighted bow on the building.
And the windows are full of articulated boxes revealing shiny diamond necklaces.
This Bergdorf crock has his diamond eye on you.
Fendi's Fifth Avenue has icicled belts on it's facade.
Alliance Francaise de Washington has lite up its facade.
Jimmy-Jack is out looking for holiday lights in Paris...
Even New York Sabret wagons are lit up like a tree...
Well they always are aren't they?
BONJOUR NEW YORK LIGHTS!
