Hello there!  It is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #35.  As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to join along our Path during the month of February for Challenge #35Check out the entries that really caught our attention...

Katrina said this:

Julie had this to say:
"My DT Delight is Susan R.  I like her hearts within a heart and her tutorial that went with this. This card has "desire" written all over it!"

Deonna--chosen by Pippa...

Here is what Pippa had to say:
"My DT Delight is Deonna.  I love this set of banners, never having seen anything like them before."

Teresa--chosen by Suze...
 Suze said this:
"My DT Delight is Teresa's 3rd entry.  I Just love how she has repurposed a box. Love the textured look to the cover."

To see the details of Teresa's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Sheila--chosen by Lisa (that's me)...

My DT Delight this time around is Sheila.  She used a vintage clockworks backdrop as her image and the following quote:  "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away."  As Sheila stated, she was "thinking of the desire to do something positive in life, however small" and the nature of the sentiment worked as a catalyst for her.

When we desire to grow and push beyond our ordinary boundaries, it is important to have goals that we can break down into steps to help us get there.  I wish Sheila and anyone else embarking on a positive journey, the best of luck in bringing their desires to fruition.

To see the details of Sheila's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.

Creative Congratulations to all of you!

If you are familiar with the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store, PLEASE NOTE THAT THINGS HAVE CHANGED.   Unfortunately, the website is no longer available.  As such I created a page on the originating blog that lists all of the images available.  Please click HERE to check out the image previews.  I have tried to arrange them into general categories.  Due to the nature of some of these images, they have been repeated in certain applicable categories.  Be sure to click on the watermarks to bring them up into the lightbox for better viewing.

If you are interested in claiming a digi, please send me the name of the one image you want and let me know which section it came from.  Send your request to popwinners {at} gmail {dot} com (be sure to replace at and dot with the appropriate symbols) or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program, with the subject, "PoP#35-DT Delight Digi Request".   I'm always running rather behind these days, so your patience is appreciated.

Additionally, each of you are entitled to the special Challenge #34 DT Delight Badge which you can find below...

Our special yearly prize package will also still be taking place.  Remember, if you are chosen as a DT Delight during any of our challenges, your name will be entered into a draw for some digital goodies.  You get one entry per choice; so, if two members picked your card, you will earn 2 entries, three members 3 entries, etc.  The winner at the time will be notified by email.   The next draw will occur sometime in the summer of 2016.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope to see you all again tomorrow, Monday, April 4th, when we will be back with the start of Challenge #37.  We hope that you will join us then to learn what the newest theme will be.

Challenge #35--DESIRE: Midway & Voting Reminder

Hello everyone! We have reached the midway point of Challenge #35. The theme for this challenge is DESIRE.

The wonderful thing about desire (like many concepts), is that there are so many ways to interpret the word and many ways to apply the concept in our lives.  Be sure to check out Pat's Pondering this month (which you can find HERE) for some more inspiration on the subject.

Anyway, now it is time to get on with our midway!

Ponderings Along the Pathway...DESIRE

Welcome to this month's edition of Ponderings Along the Pathway, an exclusive feature over here on the Path of Positivity.  The purpose of this column is to continue with the goal of this blog which is to create a space "designed to inspire, nurture and provide support for the soul by creating a positive path to follow, one project or post at a time".  Providing some motivational introspection on the themes we cover each challenge period, is one way of achieving this goal.

This month it is all about DESIRE and PAT is here to share her thoughts on the subject...

Google defines Desire as “a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.” My heart’s desire is to have balance in my life.

“… balance is the aim of all living creatures: it is our home." ~Rolf Gates
We are all pulled in so many directions that it is hard to keep to the path of our desires and goals. We want a rewarding and successful career, but relationships and family are important to us. We want help but want to be self-sufficient. We want to go out with friends but need “me” time. I don’t know about you, but I feel as if I were made of elastic and the strength of it is being tested every minute of the day.

“When your heart speaks, take good notes.” ~Judith Campbell
The first step in living in balance is to identify your desires. My desires have changed throughout the years, but I have always wanted to be a writer, to have a family and to do what I love and love what I do. In order to fulfill these desires, I have had to be stubborn about my goals but flexible about the paths I walk to get what I want, and with whom I take this journey of the heart. Just like your checkbook, walk with people who deposit as much as they withdraw from you to keep you balanced.

"Never let success go to your head, and never let failure go to your heart. ~Ziad K. Abdelnour
On the path of personal desire, there are many choices to make. If you try to control everything in your life, you can’t enjoy the journey. Make wise choices, enjoy the success, and learn from failure.  As long as you do this, you are moving forward.

“There are only two options: Make progress or make excuses.” ~Pernina Rybak
Finally, know that balance is not found but created. Balance comes from the moments you stand up for the life you truly want. There will be stress, obstacles, craziness – you’ve got to take the good with the bad and know that balance is within you to keep pace with your desires. The view at the end of your path is breathtakingly beautiful, and worth all your efforts.

A desire for balance is definitely something I can relate to and you probably can as well!  Maybe this year we can all work harder to achieve it.  Please be sure to pop over to Pat's personal blog, Patacake Pages, for more inspiration.

Well folks, that is it for today but please be sure to join us on Monday for the midway.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!

Challenge #35--DESIRE: February 1st to March 6th

It is the first Monday in February and that means it is time for the next challenge to start.  Before we do though, I have some sad news to share.  Unfortunately, one of our Design Team, Desíre, has to leave us unexpectedly.  I'm afraid that life had the nerve to interfere with her crafting time.  Desíre has been by my side since the start of this challenge, just three months shy of three years!  In fact she was one of 11 people that I consulted before embarking on this adventure.  As such, she will always be considered an Honourary DT Member, here in spirit if not body, along with four others who were with me from the start who also had to leave (Lisa M., Naomi, Ike and Vicky).  I hope that you will join me in wishing Desíre all the best as she moves forward in a new direction.

Now back to the challenge.  This time around, for Challenge #35 the theme is "DESIRE".  Show us your interpretation of what desire means to you.  You can make any sort of project and/or post as long as it is positive in nature and relates to the theme.

Ah...desire!  Such a rich word filled with so many possible meanings.  Of course, romantic love is the obvious meaning that most people first think about but other definitions of desire include simply a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.    For example, think about what you desire most, wish big, add in some hard work and all your dreams may come true.  What kinds of things do you desire?  Is it someone special or is it a closet full of shoes?!  Do you desire to travel and see the world or do you have a desire to explore the past?  Maybe your desires are for something a bit more meaningful such as a desire to have someone battling illness to continue to fight for their life?  Or perhaps you simply wish to make more out of life with the time that you have.  There are so many different avenues you could take.  As usual my team, has come up with some interesting ideas so be sure to pop over to their blogs and see how their creations connect with the concept of this challenge.  Whatever approach you take, we look forward to seeing your interpretation on this month's theme.

Don't forget when you link up your project and/or post, to please leave a comment letting us know how your creation relates to the concept of desire if it isn't readily clear within the design itself or clearly written somewhere else in your post.  Remember, the creation must be positive/inspirational/motivational AND adhere to the theme of desire in order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes.  While you may easily see how desire relates to your creation, it may not be as apparent to me or the DT members.  That is why we ask that you clarify it somewhere, whether here or in your blogpost.  You can simply write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, if it would be easier.  We just need to know how your project ties into the theme.  Letting us know, clears up any ambiguity that may exist.

Next, that brings us to Ike's Art.  Here is a refresher of what Ike's company is all about...
Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname, and in my profession at that time, …… they just loved to give nicknames ☺.

I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties ☺

I am a complete nutter or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha. I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !! Well, I get more sense out of me.! I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady” ☺

I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal. I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff ! Had I been a bit younger I swear I would have been a Goth……luuuuuv it.  Next time around I am gonna be a witch or a cat ☺

I started my Blog a couple of years ago and although I love crafting, my real passion is drawing, and now I just love making digital images.

My SHOP is IkesArt found at www.ikesart.com
