Christmas at the Belli Challenge

Hi everyone,
Hope you're having a good week so far.
....and will someone please turn the thermostat down....it's TOO HOT!
On days like this I only go outside to water the garden, then run back inside to the air conditioning.
Thunderstorms are predicted so hopefully things will cool off a little soon.

Today starts a new challenge at the

and for the next 2 weeks Darsie has chosen the theme

Christmas

For my card today I rummaged thru my boxes of Magnolia stamps and chose a cutie that's never seen ink until now.    She is Tilda with cross stitched heart and is from 2011 I think.

I really liked the wooden heart but needed to change it to match my design.  I first painted it with TH Tattered Rose Distress Crackle Paint, let it dry and then added Fran-táge.
The sentiment is from LOTV, stamped in Versafine Sepia.
Gold lace is Websters Pages...not sure where the ecru lace is from
DP is MME, Lost & Found, Market Street
Base is Bazzill Walnut Cream
The lush seam binding is MemrieMare
SB Layered Elegant Swirl added at the bottom.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Artistic Inspirations Challenge #50 - Pastel Colours
Dutch Magnolia Lovers Challenge - Tilda, Edwin or Animal
Tilda's Town Challenge #61 - Anything Goes
That Craft Place Challenge - Add ribbon and or lace
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge #35 - Anything Goes (beginner)
Vintage Stamping Challenge #10 - Pretty in Pink

Enjoy your day,

Belli Challenge #157 - Thankful/Gratitude

Good morning everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating tomorrow.
This is the first of 2 posts for me today....I've been busy!

We have a new challenge starting at the Belli Challenge
and this time the theme Darsie has chosen is
Thankful/Grateful

I've coloured a digi from ADFD called Holding a Flower.
I must confess...I've had her for a few months but this is the first time she's been coloured.
I hope you like the result.

I added a raffia ribbon and topped it with a black stitched ribbon from Michaels.
I pulled out my Spellbinders Beaded Circles, cut and dry embossed them, then added a bit of Versamark to the beads.   The button is from an old BG set tied with some very old Irish linen thread from my dear Mom's sewing box.  She was a great crafter and loved to sew.   I have not inherited that gene....it's all I can do to sew a straight line on my cards.  The sentiment was added in word.  I've used Glamour Dust on her wings and she has been coloured with Copics.

Here is a closeup of this cutie.

CAS one of my favourite styles

Good day everyone,
Hope you're having a good week so far.  It's cool and crisp with bright sunny skies in my little corner of the world. I hope the sun shines for you today too.
My daughter is in NYC and she was so excited about the trip. She lived there at one time furthering her dance training so it's a very special place for her.   With all the devastation recently I was anxious but her travel arrangements went smoothly.  She was meeting a friend for lunch, armed with a very long shopping list , so like her mother, except none of her purchases will include craft supplies :)   Anyway, enough of my chatter....

Today's card is for the new challenge that begins today at the
Belli Challenge and the theme is Harvest/fruit

I love this Mo Manning digi.  It's called Winter Delivery and is really meant to be for Christmas because he is walking thru snow but I turned the snow into puddles and thought he would be perfect for autumn as the squirrels are busy this time of year harvesting nuts.
I've kept my card CAS.  I find this style a nice break from my usual embelli laden creations.

The Belli Challenge encourages you to use your old or forgotten items.  I've used SB double ended tags, gold brads and scraps of kraft and SU old olive paper.  The sentiments inside and out are from a very old Cornish Heritage Farms stamp set called Mona Lisa Moments.

Copics:
Hat: YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
Fur: E47, E44, E43, E40
Leaves: E09, E07, Y27
YR23, Y26

I will enter the following challenges:

Challenges 4 Everybody Challenge #6 - Anything Goes
The Crafty Pad Challenge #195 - Anything Goes

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit and we'd love it if you could hop on over to the challenge and see what lovely cards my team mates have created.
Hugs,

Belli Challenge #155

Good morning all,
The theme for Challenge #155 at the Belli Challenge is Halloween.

Here is the front panel of my easel card.

Design papers are Graphic 45 "The Magic of Oz Collection"
Polka dot paper is Recollection

Die cut used is a TH on the edge called Scrollwork

Pulled out some old Halloween transfers from my stash for the inside.

I think the world runs on my time zone (lol).

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello everyone,

It's challenge time at the Belli Challenge
and the theme is
Veterans/Military

I've used a digi from Mo's Digital Pencil called Soldier Girl.
My old and forgotten items are that fabulous button (recycled) and
the Sentiment Flag which is from Lil Inker Designs.
I thought this card would be perfect for a little girl to give a Military parent or relative.

I used Copics C7, C5, C1, C00 then finished with 0 around the image.
It was fun creating the camouflage pattern on her clothing.
YG93, YG97 and a small amount of E07 were used.

Creative Belli Challenge #153 - Sports

Good day everyone,

Brrrrr, it's been cold here the past few days, especially in the morning.
Our poor old dog does not venture out of her bed for hours.....
only gets up to go outside when it's absolutely necessary!
And that's how I feel some mornings too :D

Enough of my chatter....time to let you know the theme we have for the new challenge at the
 Belli Challenge is "Sports".
Remember, we would like to see your old or forgotten items on your creation.

This time I've created an easel card using a cute image from Bugaboo. I found some very old Magic Mesh and was so surprised it was still sticky....after all these years!   I also used a metal clip from my stash....think it was from Making Memories.   The dp is a Karen Foster 6x6 pad called Sports, sentiment is computer generated.  The tickets are cut from the same paper pad. I used an old Quickutz die to cut the #4 for his jersey.

I expect to enter the following challenges:
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge #68 - One for the Boys
Digi Makeover Challenge #55 - Anything Goes
Make it Monday #108
Tammy's Scrapin Corner Weekly Challenge #29 - Design a Kiddie Card

Creative Belli Challenge #152 - Fall

Good morning everyone,

I hope this finds you well.  Yesterday my friend Carol and I spent the morning browsing thru our local scrapbook store, which unfortunately is closing. When everything is 40% off it takes alot of willpower.  I did not feed my paper obsession!  New dies on the other hand, well that's another issue :D

It's time for a new Challenge at the Belli Challenge
The theme, chosen by the owner, Darsie,  is Fall.

I've used a Saturated Canary image called Cornelia to make a "Magic Card".  I followed the great tutorial for Marianne Skjelstad's Magic card  here on Tracy's blog.  The flowers are my "something old"....they've been in my stash for a very long time, along with the punches.

Inside:

Verse:

Martha Stewart punches used around the edges. The leaves are also MS, punched out of cork.  SB Romantic Rectangles used on the inside.  Autumn Blessing stamp - Cornish Heritage Farms (another oldie), mounted on cork again.

We would love it if you joined us at the Creative Belli Challenge this time.

Entering the following challenges:
Challenges 4 Everyone #2 - Anything Goes
Come and Get it Challenges - Tic Tac Toe  (die cuts, free, punches)
Send a Smile 4 Kids - Fall or Halloween

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hugs, Pat K.x
