PATRONUS ANALYSIS: 015. THE BAT

Those with the bat as their patronus are solitary creatures for most of their time, and are very comfortable with this. They are not the types to have conforming personalities and rarely care what others think of them. They tend to get along best with other bats, and when they do socialize it is usually within this group, because they are most comfortable with others like themselves, unlikely to judge. They are not incredibly emotional, but what they do feel is only brought up by their own mind, as what others think never enters the process. The most common house for a bat patronus is Ravenclaw. The butterfly patronus represents transformation and rebirth, a flowing free spirit. People with an inner butterfly are creative, it flowing out of them like a river, and their ideas tend to pile up on top of each other. They have a love for their own mind, and want to make sure it is constantly in use. They can be a bit scattered in this way, as they often fly from place to place mentally, starting on one thing before they finish another. They are sensitive and fragile, but their inner strength is still strong, and they can hold themselves up despite the blows they are given. Raven’s are a bit like watchers of the night, quiet and observant, waiting for the precise moment to show themselves. Chances are they don’t want you to see them, then you want, as they are very good at hiding themselves. Equally, they can be incredibly charismatic when they need or want something, swooping in out of nowhere and shocking you with their mysterious presence. They have a fire to them that represents their need for freedom, and this mostly coincides with their somewhat greedy nature. They are inwardly emotional, and can turn off what they are feeling almost as a switch, if need be. The most common house for a raven patronus is Slytherin. The most common signs are Scorpio and Libra.

The otter has a vibrant soul. They are fun-loving and adventurous in nature, and this can be taken many ways. They can be extraverted in this way and go out to explore nature, and in these cases they very often will gravitate toward water. Contrary to this, they can be more introverted in their passion and using their imaginations to come up with stories, or just merely think up ventures they wish they could really go on. They are fairly emotional, and have a hard time hiding this. The most common house for an otter patronus is Ravenclaw. The most common signs are Aries and Aquarius.

The german shepherd is, by nature, a rescuer. They tend to seek out people or tasks they are in need of aid, and they gravitate toward them, having what you could call a hero complex. They are somewhat stoic in their own emotional nature, because they are much more interested in the needs of others rather than their own. Thoughts of materialstic objects and over dramatic ideals are trivial to them, because they are very simple and basic in their needs, and comfortable that way. The most common house for a german shepherd patronus is Ravenclaw. The most common signs are Taurus and Capricorn.

Those with this patronus are kind and shy souls, not ones to immediately jump into something. They used to be this type of person, but the process of diving in has left them cold and numb to the idea of it, and they are therefore hesitant. They have to get close to you, warm up to you as much as they can, and then they will start to show their true selves. Truthfully, they are beautifully affectionate, and ready to stop whatever they are doing to be there for you if you need it. They are quiet in nature, but they are pure at heart. The most comon house for a penguin patronus is Hufflepuff. The most comon signs are Pisces and Virgo.

Lions are loud and outgoing, their bravery abundant. They are very confident in their words and manners, always saying what they believe is the right thing and generally being all around friendly people. They are also incredibly helpful, ready to do whatever is in their power to help with a cause, and once they find something they care about they are strongly loyal to it. They are the same in their affections, loving with their whole heart. The most common house for a lion patronus is, not Gryffindor, but Hufflepuff. The most common signs are Leo and Gemini.

The wolf is a bit of a darker and mysterious soul, with the strength of a fighter. A person with this patronus has had a lot happen in their life, and do to that they wear a mask over their emotions. They do, however, have a very big heart that is full of both passion and fire. They have a lot of emotion within them that they are willing to give, but only once they completely trust you, and since they have been made cynical over the years this can be difficult. The most common house for a wolf patronus is Gryffindor, the most common signs are Taurus and Sagittarius.

As the legend of the stork often goes, a person with the patronus of one may compare. This means somewhere in their life they had a rebirth, aware of it or not, and this refreshed them and the stork they became. This makes them stubborn, strong people with the ability to face just about anything. They have a freedom about them, one akin to having the wings to fly, that moves them about their position in life and directs them where to go. They have an airy confidence, one they do not boast about but is very apparent and admirable to those around them. The most common house for a stork patronus is Gryffindor, the most common signs are Leo and Taurus.

There is a purity to the rabbit, one that is incredibly rare. These people, no matter how many cynical or bitter ideas the world may give them, will always have a curious innocence to them. The world interests them greatly, and they want to explore it without being judged harshly. They are very sensitive and emotional, and are not embarrassed to show this. They can lack confidence at times, because they may have others put them down and make them feel like they are not as strong as everyone else. This is untrue, those with this patronus have beautiful hearts and serene souls deep within them, no matter what else goes on in their life. They need to hold onto this to find their true happiness. The most common house for the rabbit patronus is Hufflepuff, the most common signs are Cancer and Libra.
