Intentionally making a hard thing even harder, as usual
Finding myself with a surprising amount of free time at the end of the year let me actually participate in something I’d wanted to for the past ten years but never got around to doing: the Advent of Code! I had a great time doing CTFs and other similar things in the past, but AOC always felt like a heavier lift both because it felt a little more “hardcore” let’s say, and given that time is usually scarce around this season. But this year due to reasons I have plenty of time and a good reason to show off how good I am at the computer.
