Shey Monroe} “Come on TJ and Ky!” I yelled for them as I walked out of the chip isle, they followed right behind me. “Where is T-“ I stopped mid sentence, I felt a wet substance come sliding down my leg. “Go get your dad tell him my water broke!” I stammered nervously they ran off as I quickly fount somewhere to sit. My stomach started cramping and it felt hard to function, I grabbed my phone and I called 9-1-1 I described to them what was going on to the best of my ability. They gave me instructions to calmly breathe in and out as ambulances would be there shortly. “Shey you okay!?” Tony exclaimed. “Yes, it just hurts” I cried. About five minutes later the ambulance people rolled in with the gurney, “Ma’am, do you think you can walk?” one of the paramedics asked. I shook my head no, “it hurts when I move.” “Okay where going to have to lift you up so we can place you on the gurney” the female paramedic informed me. I nodded my head as I wiped the sweat from my forehead, Tony and the male paramedic lifted me up and placed me on the gurney. They rolled me out and onto the ambulance, they hooked me to a couple of IV’s. “Okay ma’am I need you to stay with me, we’re almost to the hospital” the paramedics explained. “It hurts so bad” I cried. I felt the ambulance come to a sharp stop, “Are we there” I cry. “Yes we are we have to get you to the emergency room” she stated. They rolled me out of the ambulance and into the emergency room doctors filled the room. “Hello Ms.Monroe, are you ready to have this baby?” the doctor asked putting her gloves on. “Where’s my boyfriend” I groaned. “I’m right here baby” Tony answered grabbing my hand. “Okay I need you to start pushing” the doctor instructed. I pushed hard and pain started to hurt more, “I can’t do it!” I cry. “Baby you got this, just keep pushing” Tony stated. I pushed again, “I can see the head! Keep pushing” the doctor stated. I pushed hard as I felt my vagina tear, I heard cries of my new born. I looked down at my legs and saw blood everywhere, I felt myself start to get lightheaded and I blacked out. …… I woke up in a whole different hospital room, “dad she’s up” Ky’air announced. “Baby how are you feeling?” Tony questioned. “I’m sore as fuck” I groaned. “Where’s my baby?” I question looking around the hospital room. “The nurses took her, she should be back soon” he informed me. “Can we know her name now” TJ asked. “Montana” I replied. “I like it” Ky’air cooed. We heard the door open and we all looked, it was the nurse bringing back Montana, “Moms finally up” she laughed. I gently sat up and reached out for my baby, the nurse put her in my arms and I cradled her into my arms. She resembled Tony so much, “Hey pretty girl” I cooed making her smile hard showing off her pink gums. Tony stood beside of me, “Look at your daddy” I smile. “Mom and the Mob supposed to be stopping by later” he informed me. I nodded my head as I played with Montana, “I’m just ready to be home, in our bed this bed is so uncomfortable” I complained. “Dad TJ said he’s hungry” Ky spoke. “Nigga you a snitch why you have to put my name in it” TJ mumbled making me laugh. “Are you hungry?” Tony questioned. I shook my head no, “well I will be back I’m going to go get me and the boys food” he assured me before him and the boys left. It was just me and Montana, I looked down at her and she was asleep I smiled at the way her lip quivered. I laid her against my chest as I felt my self getting sleepy again. “Sis wake up” I heard Diamond faintly say. I opened my eyes and I saw her holding Montana, “Hey” I murmur. “How you feeling lil bit?” Sav questioned. “Tired” I answered. “I’m going to spoil the fuck outta her” Tigue smiled as Diamond placed Montana in his arms. “Where is Tony?” I questioned. “He went to go pick up his mom and dad” Talley clarified I just nodded my head, “where’s Nya?” I asked Diamond “We left her at my moms house” Sav stated. “I’m so sleepy” I murmur to myself, I rolled on to my side, so I could try to fall asleep again. ~~~~~ My eyes quickly opened as I heard Montana cry I sat up and I saw Tony’s mom fixing her a bottle. “Well good morning” she smiled. “Morning?” I questioned to myself. I checked the date on my phone, it was a completely new day, “the doctors said you should be able to go home today once they check your blood pressure and all of that stuff” Tony’s mom clarified. “Mom where’s Tony?” I questioned “He went to go take a shower and drop the boys off at school, he left about a hour ago he should be back soon” she stated I just nodded my head. “Can I feed her?” I asked. She nodded her head and put the baby in my arms, I put the bottle in her mouth and she started gulping down the milk. “You hungry huh” I cooed. After she got done with her bottle I grabbed the burping cloth and put it on my shoulder, I gently patted her back so she could burp. I heard a big burp coming from her making me and Tony’s mom laugh. The door open widely, I reached my neck out to see it was Tony. “Hey ma” Tony spoke kissing her on her forehead. “Hey honey” she replied. Tony came up to me and kissed me, I kissed him back “you ready to go home?” he questioned. “Yes I’m ready to be in my own bed” I sigh. “I talked to the nurses there bringing up your release forms in a minute. “Did you get the baby’s car seat?” I questioned. “Yeah I left it in the car though” he responded. The door opened once again, “here’s your release forms all you have to do is sign at the bottom and your free to go” the nurse smiled handing me the pin. I didn’t bother to read anything I just quickly signed it, I gave her the paperwork back along with the pin and she left out the room. “Can you hold her while I get the stuff together?” I questioned. Tony nodded and I placed her into his arms, I got up and gathered all the loose stuff I had laying out in the room placing it all in the bags they belonged to. I grabbed two blankets out of Montana’s diaper bag so I could wrap her up. After everything was done we left out of the hospital, “bye mom, I’ll drive over there after everything is settled down so you can see the baby” I sq hugging her. “Okay, y’all drive safe now with my grand baby in that car” she smiled before walking to her own car. I buckled her into her car seat after I made sure she was okay I got into the passenger seat and Tony drove off. We pulled into the driveway of our home and I got out, “I’ll grab the car seat just grab the bags” Tony instructed. I did as he said and I used my key to unlock the door, I walked in and the cool air hit me it felt do good to be home. I walked upstairs to separate all of the stuff that were in the bags.
