A series of posters I designed for a cyberbullying campaign for my Design Studio class at The Corcoran.

Looks good in your studio, classroom or oval office.

Where do good ideas come from? It’s a question that matters a great deal to designers, yet seems to be curiously discounted in the common perception of graphic design. Any time I talk with, say, an uncle at Thanksgiving about my work, I’m reminded that, in most people's minds, the job of being a designer is mainly a matter of learning a set of computer applications — programs which, when properly operated, presumably do the work of generating ideas on their own.

We put together some striking posters from Poland. All posters seems to scream a vibrant mix of hand draw, angular shapes, colors, and a lot of freedom to create without limitations.

This is a project from second year called protest and persuade. My chosen topic was on women’s safety at night looking at the issue of spiking. ASPCA Anti Animal Cruelty PSA Poster design by Gregory Kustanovich. Puppy.

The designer says she hopes the “square peg in a round hole” icon will become a global symbol for mental health, inspired by Act Up’s Silence=Death AIDS campaign in the 1980s.
