My grandma used to do this and we're just going to flour our bacon before we put it in the oven and that's all there is to it. Nothing fancy here. Just a nice thin coat of flour. It's not going to taste like flour. It's going to taste just extra delicious. If you haven't done this, give it a go. We have our oven preheating right now at 425 degrees. And it depends on your oven I suppose but we'll set the time for about 12 minutes. Okay and now for our marinade. I'm just going to grab a couple eggs here. And give them a quick whisk. And to our eggs just a little bit of pickled juice here. It's a good stuff folks. Yes it is. No measurement. Just kind of eyeball it. Next, just some Frank's Red Hot Sauce. And oh2 tablespoons. Should be good. Get that. Get a quick blend. And lastly just a little bit of buttermilk. This will give that nice tang that you're looking for. Get that all blended up nice. Beautiful. To our marinade. We just have some of these boneless skinless chicken tenders. You could use chicken thighs too. Those be quite good. And we'll just get these guys in here. And this is something you could prepare the night before. These could hang out in the fridge all night. Ideally you'd want to give these oh I don't know. Probably 4 hours. Uh or longer. The longer the better. And in the fridge we go. And now for our breading component. We'll go ahead and get our seasoning together. We've got some of the smoked paprika. Quantities can depend on how much you're making. I'm going with about teaspoon there. Kinda equal portions of each. Next we got some of this Chipotle chili powder. This is real good. And same thing. About a teaspoon of that. Next onion powder. Garlic powder, some black pepper who doesn't love black pepper I mean staple and then lastly some sea salt this I won't put quite as much in maybe just half as much Then to our seasoning, we'll add some panko bread crumbs. And this will just give us that crunch we're looking for. We're going to do oh about a half a cup of this cornstarch. This will give us again some nice crunch. And then lastly, just some regular all-purpose flour and we can do about twice as much flour as we have cornstarch. Maybe a little more. Okay, we'll just give this a mix. Get all the seasonings kind of incorporated. This will give us some nice colour with that smoked paprika and that Chipotle chili powder too. It already smells quite terrific. Mm hmm. I concur. Nice. That's exactly what we're looking for right there. Okay, let's check on our bacon. Oh yeah. Yum. There it is. Perfectly flat, perfectly even cooked bacon. Oh. And that's how you do it. That's going to be beautiful. Okay. He's been sitting here for about oh four hours now. Let's go ahead and get him in our prepared seasoned flour. And so we're just going to want to kind of get these evenly coated. And if you want em really, if you want a lot of breading on em, if you want em coated really well, just take em out, dip em back into this brine and then go one more time. Yeah, you'll get some real good flowering out of them. Yeah, that's nice. And then we go. Our oil's been preheating. We're at 400 degrees. Just be careful with these guys. Try to lay em away from you if you can. These won't take long. These are pretty pretty small. Okay, let's give these guys a quick flip. Wonderful. Gorgeous. Let's get our first batch out of here. Yeah, those are looking real nice. Mm hmm. Second batch. Okay, so our chicken just came out. It's nice and hot. Our bacon's ready to go. So, we can go ahead and start assembling and for this, I just like to kind of slide a piece of bacon in each one. Look at that bacon how well that turned out. Gorgeous. Flowering it just makes the world a difference. Thank you grandma. Yup. Do that the next day make a BLT. Okay. And then chicken comes in Some of these pieces if they're too big go ahead and give them a slice if they're too small. Maybe I just squeeze in two. Yeah double them up. Get a little extra in this one here. Whoever wants a bite of chicken. Oh yeah. Each bite should have a little chicken in it. Now, let's load these guys up. Mm hmm. Okay. A little Monray Jack. Well, that chicken's good. These might be the most delicious tacos you're ever going to make at home. Non traditionals. Very non-traditional but holy cow. Now, they've all got cheese on em. Under the broiler they go. This won't take long. Just a quick minute under the broiler. Okay, everyone's all melty. Got a little toast on the tortillas. Smells spectacular. Looking pretty great. Okay. Let's yank one out here. And finish assembly. So what I like to do is just put the cold stuff in next. We got ourselves some pickle slices which I like quite a bit. These little pickle spears. Couple of those guys in there. I like a little tomato in mine. And tomato. And then lastly some of this nice lettuce. Give us a little crunch and before we put together, I like a little ranch on mine. It's kind of like a chicken bacon ranch taco. Sure is. Holy cow. Let's fold it back up. Alright. Going in for Eric's chicken bacon ranch tacos. You guys gotta try this. Going in for my first bite. Here we go. That is spectacular. Dude, that is amazing. Ten out of 10. One of the best tacos I've ever had. Honestly. This is so good.

However much chicken you need, this recipe is for three to four chicken breast depending on the size. We're just going to lay the chicken breast inside your Crockpot. Any Crockpot will work for this recipe. Your grandma's really old Crockpot. The Crockpot that's been sitting in the garage dusted. Wash it off for this recipe buns. You've gotta make it. So, I'm just laying the chicken directly at the bottom of Crockpot. We're going to start with a packet of onion soup mix. If you don't like buying a store-bought packet, that's okay. I've got a recipe on Eat On A Dime. com. We have an amazing search feature on the website. Just search for onion soup mix and you'll find our homemade recipe and again, you can find this as well by going Eat On a Dime. com and searching savory chicken. Nope. I guess I need my scissors because apparently I can't cut these things open. Okay. Whoo. Dumping that in. Then, we need Italian dressing. Today, I'm using the Olive Garden Italian dressing because that's what I have but normally, I would just use like a zesty Italian, very inexpensive like craft or something like that that you can get at your local grocery store but this is all I had on hand. So, any Italian dressing will work I have this is kind of a little bit creamier so I've done it with a like a regular Italian and I've done it with a creamy Italian and they're both amazing so we're going to throw in one cup of that give it a quick drizzle right on top of that chicken coated all the chicken Add the lid. Done. Tell me that's not super easy to make. I'm going to slow cook this on low for six to eight hours. If you want, I don't want that lid anyway. If you want this chicken to be whole and not shredded, you're going to want to cook it about five to 6 hours. If you want it to be completely shredded, then you're going to cook it for six to eight. Now, how in the world do you serve this? Let me know below. Okay, one favorite options on top of rice. Little tip for the rice, always season your rice with garlic salt. If you don't have garlic salt, use some garlic powder and some salt. It changes, it makes the rice completely amazing. The other tip is you can serve this on mashed potatoes. Okay, sorry. I was moving a text out of the way. Okay, so first we we can serve it with rice. Then, we can serve it on mashed potatoes. Also, then, we can serve it in like a wrap. Lefto are great on a salad. How would you serve it? It's the possibilities are endless but imagine spending five minutes making dinner, three ingredients, and coming home and dinner is done. Ah. That's how simple it is, right? Now, if you go to our website to get this recipe, there might be a pop up for you to type in your name and your Email. I highly recommend you do that. Number one, we're doing Amazon gift card giveaways for our Email subscribers. Don't worry, Email subscribers are completely for free but also, you're going to get tons of delicious and easy recipes just like this in your inbox. So, you'll never have to worry about what's for dinner again. Someone cauliflower rice. Yes, cauliflower rice. Would it be amazing? Guys, look at this so simple. Ooh. Egg noodles. I love the idea of egg noodles. Now, let's say you're going to serve this on mashed potatoes or chicken or egg or not chicken. Uh rice or egg noodles and you want more of a gravy. Go ahead and add one cup of chicken broth, okay? Then, when you're finished shredded it, go ahead. Hi, Tammy. Go ahead and mix a little cornstarch and water. Make a little like a roux, a cornstarch slurry, that's what we call it. Dump it in. Take the off and let it sit for about 30 minutes and it will thicken it up but it'll make an amazing gravy to serve alongside. Another idea friends is go ahead and throw in some frozen green beans or about 30 minutes before you can do canned green beans that you've drained. Diced up asparagus would be amazing in here but then when you throw them in there in the last 30 minutes, that vegetable is going to take on all the amazing flavor of the chicken and the sauce and juices that maybe your kids will actually eat them because I know I like my vegetables with all the delicious stuff on top of it too. So, lots of tips, lots of ideas, and I hope you enjoy this day. You guys have a great day. I cannot wait for you to share with me your recipe. We're starting off with our can of cream of chicken in our pie crust. Then we're going to add a can of mixed vegetables. A bag of our grilled chicken strips all in our pie crust. We're going to season this with a little bit of black pepper and a little bit of salt but you can add whatever seasonings you like. Some garlic powder or onion powder. Now I'm going to grab my crescents and we're going to lay our crescents on top of our pie and then we're going to brush it with some butter. Cover this with foil. Bake it at 350 for about 45 minutes and you have the best chicken pot pie. Enjoy.
