An authentic antique Caucasian hand woven by artisans in the town of Bidjov in caucuses.the design consists of an ascending series of palmettes flanked by large serrated leaves and smaller palmettes.This is an exceptionally well drawn and designed piece ,with a beautiful rendering of ascending Bijov composition. The rug is in distressed condition but it has kept its beauty and charmes and the structure of the piece is very good,all dyes are organic without a doubt and colors are really impressive.Sides and ends have been restored.
