Baking & Spices
• 100 g ( 7/8 of a cup) confectioner sugar
• 120 g All-purpose flour
• 500 g All-purpose flour plus
• 5 g Cinnamon optional
• 3 g Salt
• 125 g Sugar
• 5 ml Vanilla extract
Dairy
• 100 g Non-salted butter
Other
• 5 g Rams (2-½ teaspoo) cocoa powder for half of the topping, if desired
• 7.5 grams (2- ½ teaspoon) Rapid Rise (or Quick Rising) Instant Yeast. (SEE NOTES IF USING ACTIVE YEAST)
• 100 g Rams (½ cup plus 1 teaspoon) vegetable shortening plus extra to grease the dough and baking sheets
