Jdlrobson renamed this task from Nearby feature has disappeared from mobile site to [Regression] Nearby feature has disappeared from mobile site.Jul 12 2022, 3:20 PM
Jdlrobson added a project: Regression.

Testing this locally this appears to be a recent regression

Looks like this was caused by T221004 (specifically I39bed4e9a9b09f904cb3e5d78ccb3e6e175981a8)

I'll update our visual regression suite to make sure this feature is covered better.

This definitely is a regression from T221004. I'll fix this ASAP.

Seeing questions about this – would probably help if we assured people it's back (I hope, by the time Tech News is delivered) so they don't think it was removed.

Added to https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2022/29 as:

The feature on mobile web for Nearby Pages was missing last week. This has now been will be fixed. [1]

If any edits are needed, please do so directly or let me know, within the next ~24 hours. Thanks.

The fix is going out on next week's train. As far as I know it hasn't been backported.

Looks to be fixed (checked English Wikipedia).
