The evolution of Dry Erase began with their first release, "Fatal Glitch", in 2017, and after a series of transcontinental endeavors, now culminates with their magnum opus.
“Decay Model” is the sound of four musicians striving to transcend the musical tropes that have polluted contemporary music. Combining the demonic bass lines, dissonant guitar patterns, and half-functional drum machines from their early days with a new, loose, and unwound feel, “Decay Model” offers something inimitable.Dry Erase are a veritable Frankenstein of musical practices, with European cold wave, early Bristol sounds, hip hop, and avant-garde featured most prominently. Less a band and more an intercontinental collective, Dry Erase challenges and provokes listeners in a way seldom heard today.
