Greetings Alumni and Friends,
I am humbled to provide you with a brief update on our Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. The College of Pharmacy currently has 209 PharmD students enrolled. These students comprise the P1year (Class of 2029) through P4 year (Class of 2026) cohorts. Pharmacy schools throughout the country experienced smaller enrollments during the pandemic, and however student numbers have been steadily increasing since 2022.
Our student outcomes following pharmacy school demonstrate outstanding achievement:
- 93% on-time graduation rate
- 90% first-time pass rate on NAPLEX
- 90% match rate for students seeking post-graduate residency
- 94% employed as a pharmacist or in a residency program, within 1 year of graduation
We are proud of our students and grateful for the legacy created by all our alumni. The University of Utah College of Pharmacy continues to positively impact the health of people in the State of Utah, in the United States, and worldwide.
