about

„Love Songs“ is a haunting, deeply human statement about the necessity for love. Born out of friendship and the urgency to create beauty in times defined by cruelty, and disinformation, this collaboration by the three artists is a deeply emotional and atmospheric work.
Together, they offer a soundtrack to „Weltschmerz“: Not as resignation, but as confrontation.

Asking: What does it mean to choose love when empathy itself is being vilified?

The eight songs traverse states of mourning, anger and intimacy. They combine quiet defiance with soundscapes that drift from suffocating drone and noise into fragile melodies and cathartic eruptions.

Not escaping from darkness, but working through it.
Insisting on tenderness, memory, and resistance.

The professional mastering by Antagon, who also mastered the collaborative album „A Prenatural Silence“ by Phasenmensch and Saint-Martin before, ensures a sonic depth and cohesion.

Phasenmensch Germany

Phasenmensch was founded in 2009 by self-taught musician Wolfram Bange from Düsseldorf. He originally studied literature and philosophy and is now working as a certified teacher of these subjects.
In 2013 his project was signed to the well recognized industrial label HANDS. A still ongoing and fruitful cooperation to this day.
