pf22 I first listened to Martin via his Sphäre Sechs and Phelios projects, which tend towards brooding, Dark / Space Ambient in style and structure, something I absolutely love!
This voyage to “Tau Ceti” begins with a little over 48 minutes of beautiful, drifting, morphing Space Ambient atmospheres which continue into the 3rd and final (title) track, before Martin’s gently hypnotic sequencers fade-in and carry you to the end of the album.
All in all a fantastic release, and a wonderful journey!

Gerhard-Steltermann (SilverFuchs) Dieses Album ist wundervoll, was für ein Sound und Atmosphäre. Auch sehr schön, wie sich das Pad allmählich immer mehr Aufbaut! Favorite track: Debris Disk.

about

Portal to Tau Ceti is my first release of 2025. I recorded the music on New Year's Day as part of my Home Concert 68. The three parts of this album are mostly improvised with soundscapes and Ambient Pads. The arrival at the Tau Ceti system is reflected by the only synthesizer sequence at the very end of the album.
