I put all of my buildings into one huge city instead of splitting them up into smaller towns.. As you might be able to tell, this is very influenced by EBOY! There, now I said it! ;P Howerver, I'm still working on this piece so it's not 100% finished! You have to let me know what you think about this!

chan, there is nothing wrong with emulating those you admire, the eboy group does great pixel art, I would try to develop my own style as you go.
What I mean about the highlights is that for each building you use one highlight color as opposed to 2 or even three, Highlights in the shadowed walls would use the color of the lit walls, lit walls use a lighter tone and edges and tips use an even lighter shade when *shiny* is needed. I don't use black outlines so its difficult to point out which should be which. I rather you made a post in the forum in the WIP section for stuff like this. I think the gallery should just be for finished work.

Looks OK, I'll reserve comments on the nitpiking till you add more. I do see a lot of inconsistent black outlining, very odd highlighting and as you build up the character, focus on breaking up all areas that *appear* to simply be cut & paste.

Remember that this is not 100% finished! There are still some details to be worked on and I'm doing it as fast as I can ;)
