about

Have you ever worked on something with a group of people and thought the process might kill all of you? Or that maybe you might snap and kill all of them? Then when it’s done you all come together and celebrate the hard work and end result? Making this record was a lot like that, except I’m not sure we’ve come together yet. What seems like ages ago we started writing these songs in a small room with carpeted walls in the south hills of Pittsburgh. The band went through a lot of ups and downs and changes during this process. I am confident you’ll hear it in these songs.

Pretty much everyone in the band threatened to quit during this process with various degrees of sincerity and success. Eventually,
these songs started taking shape so we headed down the road to track
them with Dave Klug at his David Klug Studio. Dave was amazingly
positive and supportive and fun to work with even though we were
a total mess and had only a vague idea of the fi nal product we were
trying to achieve. After getting everything tracked we sent it all to
Justin Francis in Nashville to mix and master. He ran our tracks
through some sort of magic machinery they have at Sound Stage
Studios and brought it all to life. We argued and fl ipped fl opped a
million times about the track order (it’s still wrong btw) and the album
title (luckily, we got that one right).

While arguing about every minor detail we found an artist on
Instagram that miraculously, we all agreed needed to do our cover
art. Shintaro Kago, we are forever in your debt for giving us such
amazing visuals to accompany our sonic nervous breakdown. Once
we settled on an incorrect track listing, a brilliant album title, and had
the amazing illustrations from Shintaro, it was left to Rob (our idiot
drummer) to lay it all out into this gorgeous packaging you are holding
in your hand, hopefully while modernbaseballiswar is playing in the
background. Although, I kinda wish you were paying more attention to
that song because it is a god damn banger!

That’s pretty much it. That’s how a bunch of friends learned to
hate each other over the last couple years. Hopefully, you listen to
the album and decide it was worth it, but its 2018 and no one has
any attention span left so you defi nitely already stopped reading and
probably already turned the music off....So, thanks for nothing?

about

Worlds Scariest Police Chases Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Formed in 2010, we dropped UNFUCKWITHABLE in 2012, then two more releases on A-F Records, followed by our third LP on Say-10 in 2018. Through tours, lineup changes, and personal/political turmoil, our sound evolved. Now, with Tell My Mom and Dad I Love My Mom (Sept 26, 2025, Say-10), we’re heavier, sharper, and truer to ourselves. ... more
