Utility Apps Support

I have an external HD (bootable windows IDE) that I need to duplicate. I could order a drive duplicator but I only need a couple copies and it doesnt justify the expense. I was thinking I could burn an ISO file from the source, and burn the ISO on a blank drive.

On a mac, I could use the DD command
Ubuntu has a similar command tool built in
Windows has some 3rd party utilities, but I am not allowed/blocked from installing software on this PC

I made a bootable flash drive (Ubuntu) but I am locked out of the BIOS to change boot order and boot from a flash.

after the update to VeraCrypt Portable 1.21 the translations are missing. Only English is available under Settings => Languages ....
In the folder \PortableApps\VeraCryptPortable\App\VeraCrypt the old language files are stored (from 2016). Why are the new files not installed with the update like it does when I install the desktop version? And how can I fix this?

Hi Having a few issues with DSynchronize as its stop loading after installing the latest version of the update. i have contacted the application author who has informed me that the portable app version is a mod mod version is this correct?
The author has also suggested that the version on the page may not be the true version number released how can this be? any advice would be helpful.

As far as I can see I don't have jPortable installed. I don't have a folder for it and it doesn't appear in the launcher even with "Show advanced apps" ticked. So I'm not sure why the PortableApps Updater is telling me there are updates available for it. Can anyone advise? Is it required by some other portable app(s)?

ps: is there any way to search the forums?

The online installer for jportable 8 update 144 is not working for me. Each time I try running the installer it gives me a SendRequest error and never downloads anything.

Can you please explain to me what exactly is the difference between these two WinMerge apps, so far as I can see, they are identical and have even the same description copy down to the letter but are attributed to two different people and one has an older last update date; suggesting it was forked at some point?

Hi all,

I'm not able to update AutoRuns to v13.80. Every time I try to do so, I get the message, that the download was not possible.
Even when using the downloaded executable "AutorunsPortable_13.80_English_online.paf.exe", the same effect comes up: "The installer was unable to download autoruns".

Since I have a working internet connection, something else must be the problem. Any hints? Anyone experiencing the same thing?

SystemExplorer Portable 7.1.0.5359 - popup Information Window

Need your atention on one issue,

Each time I fly over the task icon, the popup Information Window is getting bigger.
