Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary | Thailand

The Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the largest intact seasonal tropical forest complex in Mainland Southeast Asia. The sanctuary is home to largest population of tigers in Thailand.

Thungyai-Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuaries is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Temple of Wat Chang Lom | Thailand

The Si Satchanalai Historical Park is a historical park in Sukhothai Province, northern Thailand.

Wat Chang Lom is a large Buddhist temple in the central zone of Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Its name translates to “temple surrounded by elephants”.  The main bell-shaped Chedi of Wat Chang Lom is skirted by 32 elephant sculptures positioned in a manner that they appear to be supporting the whole building.

Si Satchanalai  is one of the three locations of UNESCO World Heritage site Historic Town of Sukhothai and Associated Historic Towns.

Ko Pha Ngan is an island in the Gulf of Thailand in southeast Thailand. It is part of the Samui Archipelago. The island's population is about 13,000. One of the other islands in this archipelago is Koh Samui, Thailand's second-largest island after Phuket.

Turtle Island | Thailand

Koh Tao, meaning "Turtle Island" is part of the Chumphon Archipelago. It covers an area of about 21 km². The economy of the island is almost exclusively centred on tourism, especially scuba diving. The island is located 40 km northeast of Koh Samui.

Hin Taa Toh in Thai means Buddha Rock. The shape of the rock resembles a sitting man and is worshiped by the local population.

Koh Phayam | Thailand

Koh Phayam is located close to the Mayanmar border. The island is only 10 km long and 5 km wide with a population of around 500.

Satun is one of the southern provinces of Thailand, close to the Malaysian border. Today, the South Andaman Sea of Thailand in Satun is a popular travel destination among foreign and Thai travelers.

One of the main attractions is the 51 islands that make up Tarutao National Park, Thailand’s first Marine National Park (established in 1972). All but one of the 51 islands are uninhabited. Like many of the islands in this region, koh Dong is a popular diving spot.

Khao Yai National Park | Thailand

Khao Yai National Park is the third largest national park in Thailand, covering 300 square kilometers; home to more than 800 species of fauna. The park is internationally important for its biodiversity and the conservation of globally threatened and endangered mammal, bird and reptile species.

The park is part of UNESCO World Heritage site “Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex”.

The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phrakaew) are located on Rattanakosin island, the heart of Old Bangkok city. The Emerald Buddha is a dark green statue, approximately 66 centimetres tall, carved from a single jade stone.

Wat Phra Kaew is located inside the Grand Palace complex, undoubtedly Bangkok’s most famous landmark. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King.

Historic City of Ayutthaya | Thailand

Ayutthaya was a Siamese kingdom, founded in 1350. The second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. It was the capital of the country until its destruction by the Burmese army in 1767. Its remains, characterized by the prang (reliquary towers) and gigantic monasteries, give an idea of its past splendour.

The Wat Mahathat or Temple of the Great Relic, is a Buddhist temple in Ayutthaya.

Poda Island | Thailand

Poda Island (Koh Poda) is a small limestone island with beautiful white coral sand beaches and crystal clear water. The circular island is no more than a kilometer in diameter, covered in palm trees and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach. Koh Poda is the largest of all the four islets in Poda Group Islands.

Bangkok is the capital and the most populous city of Thailand with over eight million inhabitants.
The temple of Wat Phra Kaew, meaning The Temple of the Emerald Buddha,  is located in the historic centre of Bangkok. It’s full official name is Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram. The Emerald Buddha is a dark green statue, approximately 66 centimetres tall, carved from a single jade stone.

Koh Phi Phi beach Thailand

Koh Phi Phi Leh is an island of the Phi Phi archipelago, in the Andaman Sea. It belongs to the Krabi province of Thailand.

The island consists of a ring of steep limestone hills surrounding 2 shallow bays, the Maya Bay and Loh Samah. Maya Bay is a popular diving spot. It has become the main tourist attraction since The Beach was filmed here in 1999, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Sukhothai Historical Park, Thailand

The Sukhothai Historical Park covers the ruins of Sukhothai, capital of the Sukhothai kingdom in the 13th and 14th centuries, located in what is now the north of Thailand.

Wat Mahathat is the most important and impressive temple compound in Sukhothai Historical Park. 'Wat Mahathat' translates as 'temple of the great relic' and many Thai cities have a Wat Mahathat, where relics of the Buddha were kept.

From a set of 10 stamps about tourist spots: Thale Waek meaning Separated Sea. During the lowest tide of the day, the sea is gradually separated by the white sand and limestone beach that will appear to connect two islands.
