Life after The Dolls (French LP)

VARIOUS - SONS OF THE DOLLS (1982)

"Sons Of The Dolls" compiles four bands all connected to the New York Dolls. The Idols, Criminals and Corpse Grinders were released as individual singles but the Killer Kane Band's songs were only available on this compilation released by Fan Club Records (a subsidiary of New Rose Records). Although never available as a CD in France, it was reissued (1990 and 1993) in Japan as a CD (now fetching high prices) under license from New Rose by Century Records.

Mad Dog Dreams (1989) Revisited In The USA (1990)

DROOGS - WANT SOMETHING (1990)

Hailing from Los Angeles, the Droogs were formed in 1972, they released some singles (compiled for their Anthology - Germany 1987) until their first album in 1984 "Stone Cold World" (produced by Earle Mankey). In 1989, they released their third album "Mad Dog Dreams"' in Germany, and one year later, the same album is released in the USA as "Want Something" with an alternate track order and a few different songs - the 3 live cuts are dropped and replaced by a cover of the Kinks plus 4 other studio cuts.

Boston Power Pop (1st Full Length LP) (Never Reissued)

THE NEIGHBORHOODS - THE HIGH HARD ONE (1986)

Hailing from Boston, The Neighborhoods started out playing strong power pop (a 1980 single, "Prettiest Girl" remains a local classic) in the wake of British neo/mods. After the mini-album "Fire Is Coming" (1984) the band released their first LP "The High Hard One" which showed maturation, an album full of instantly memorable tunes.

Clap Your Hands And Stamp Your Feet (The Return)

VARIOUS - GLAM & GLITTER Vol 2 (2025)

Five years later, this is a follow up to my first collection of 25 songs / bands from the last 30 years for some kind of a tribute to the 70's Glam and Glitter era. Some of you will hear some Bolan (plenty) / Slade / Sweet, Bowie or Glitter homages, and they will be right. Only original songs have been included. And, just for info, no hyper-hairsprayed acts are featured here, only some good old shoutin', stompin' anthems. 100% real Glam guaranteed.

Beatlesque is Back (PPA Exclusive)

BEATLESQUE TO THE CORE (2025)

Here is the fourth part of my Beatlesque compilations, it comes 6 years after the previous one "Let It Beatlesque" (2019) which is still available here on PPA along "Meet The Beatlesque" (2007) and "Beatlesque Again" (2011).
As usual, no songs from the 60's era were used, only songs released between 1982 and 2024 have been compiled on "Beatlesque To The Core" (minus the fabulous 1973 song by Badfinger, which was the very last Apple single).
A complete set of artwork has been included, it features all the bands and albums that can be found on this new volume.

US LP Edition (Never Reissued)

DUCKS DELUXE - DUCKS DELUXE (1974)

In 1973 the band signed to RCA and released their first single, "Coast To Coast", written by Sean Tyla and Nick Garvey, though Tyla is not credited on the track, because he was trying to untangle himself from a previous publishing deal. Their eponymous debut album Ducks Deluxe was released in early 1974, and "captures something of the fire and excitement that the Ducks' live act generated".

This is the US LP edition which omits "I Got You", has an edited version of "Daddy Put The Bomp" and presents a totally different track order.from the UK release.
