Z '40s/'50s: Food/Drink/Candy/Gum

Ice for the icebox and milk in a bottle were delivered to our house..TV dinners were introduced later. Candy and gum we're often bought with our allowance at the "5 & dime" store. We got ice cream in a cup & popsicles from the ice cream truck that came to our school & neighborhood. What excitement when we heard the music announcing its arrival. Comments are from other pinners, not me.
