I have one premade pie crust here, the Pillsbury kind. So, I'm just going to put it in my pie dish like so. Alright and yeah, I grease this pie dish very real important, alright? So, if it ain't perfect, that's fine. I think that looks great. Alright, so I'm going to put this to the side for a moment. We have some eggs. Oop, it broke but that's alright. 8 eggs, alright? To this, we're going to add about a teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt and about a teaspoon of black pepper. Alright, and then we're going to mix this and now to this, while we're mixing it, we have one and a half cups of heavy whipping cream. So, we're going to keep mixing as we do this, alright? Look, I'm getting real fancy. I look like a real chef. Okay, y'all. Uh this is like some real stuff you see on the food network right here. Look at me. Mixing, whisking in my my heavy cream to my eggs. Wow, I'm I'm fancy. I'm getting fancy y'all. Alright, that's perfect. I'm making a delicious, delicious breakfast. Alright, to this, we're going to add a little bit of onion. So, I have some chopped wet onion here. Um there we go. That's good. We're going to keep mixing. Mixy mixy. Alright and now, we're going to add some bacon. So, I cooked my bacon already, okay? I cooked my bacon so we're going to just like, I'm just going to cut it and add it. You know, I'm going to eat some too. I love bacon. Bacon is so good. Mmm mmm. Alright, you know what else? I feel like we can just do this. Rip it up. So, we're going to add about, I don't know, about eight slices of bacon. Y'all can do more or less. I'm going to keep eating it too. Mmm, that's real good. Mmm mmm. I love bacon. I know y'all do too. Mmm mmm mmm. Alright, I'm going to mix this. Little mixy mixy. Okay, we good. Alright. Now, we're going to add about two cups of shredded cheddar cheese. I'm not measuring it but I feel like a handful is a cup. Uh I don't know. I'm probably right but I might be wrong. That looks like about another cup too. We're just going to put the rest of this in here and this is cheese. I shredded myself y'all. I shredded myself. Alright. Let me give this a little mix. This is looking real good y'all. So we just have onion, eggs, cheese, bacon. I mean, wow. What what else is there in life? This going to be so good. Alright. So at this point now we're going to do here I'm going to take our pie dish. Uh is this going to fit? I don't know. I feel like this might be too much to go in here but you know what? Here we go. Let's let's see. Alright. Nope. I think we good. This going to be perfect. Oh my goodness y'all. This is perfect. Look at that. It fit perfect. Get all that out. Get all that bacon. Okay, y'all. So y'all we're going to put this in the oven at three fifty. We're going to cook it for about an hour. I'm going to cover it with foil for the first 45 minutes and I'm going to take the foil off for the last fifteen. This is going to be delicious. Alright, y'all. Here we have our delicious breakfast quiche. Remember, we have those eggs, that heavy cream, that cheese, that onion, bacon, and a pie crust. So, I'm really excited to try this y'all. It's real hot though. I just took it out of the oven. So, I'm just going to slice into it and you know what y'all? Actually, oh my goodness. It's going to be so good. So, I literally just pulled this out of the oven. It's going to be so hot. I like how the crust is like. Some of it's like a nice golden brown. I really like that. Let's see if I can get this out. Oh my goodness y'all. It's going to be so good. Look at this. Look how perfect that looks. That looks amazing actually. Wow. Sometimes I impress myself y'all. Sometimes things are like they like turn out better than I thought they would. I don't know. I'm going to turn this around so you can see inside. That looks real good. That cheese, that bacon. I'm going to try it y'all but you want to know what? You say hi, Kevin. They love seeing you. Usually y'all he's a good boy now and he sleeps while I'm cooking but every once in a while, he comes over, right baby? He's so beautiful. Say hi, Kevin. Okay, I'm putting them down. I have to give him a treat for being a good boy. Alright. Well, that's good y'all. I had to stall a little bit because look, this is still so hot but this is I'm I'm I'm excited. I'm going to try it. Alright, you know, I'm going to try like a real little bite like that because y'all, I don't want to burn my tongue. Look, I'm going to blow on it. Kevin's watching me. He's on the floor right there. Makes a great meal anytime. Recipe ⬇️ INGREDIENTS 2 whole wheat large flour tortillas 2 tbsp oil (any variety) 2 cups greens (spinach, arugula or kale chopped) 8 grape tomatoes sliced in half 4 scrambled eggs 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese INSTRUCTIONS 1. Add 2 large flour tortillas to 9” springform pan, brushing with oil over both. 2. Add greens, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and most of the feta, saving some for the top. 3. Add cheddar, salt and pepper and toss together. Lightly grease a 9” spring form pan with cooking spray and evenly press the hash browns mixture into the bottom and sides of the pan, making sure there aren’t any holes in the crust, which will cause leaking. Place the crust in the freezer and freeze for 30 at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425˚F. Place frozen crust until the oven and par-bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and slightly cool. In a skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and lightly caramelize for about 10 minutes. Add asparagus to skillet and continue to caramelize for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs and cream. Whisk together until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients, including caramelized shallots and asparagus and stir together until completely combined. Season with salt and pepper. Pour filling mixture into the par-baked crust and place into the oven. Lower oven temperature to 375˚F and bake the quiche for 25 to 30 minutes or until the eggs have barely set. Remove quiche from oven and score the perimeter with a paring knife. Loosen springform pan from sides of quiche and place quiche back into the oven for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. (this will help the crust get crisp on the sides. Remove quiche from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
