You Are so Art Deco
I purchased this buffet on my local Facebook marketplace in hopes to give it a new life and flip it. It was in great shape as far as the veneer, doors and hardware. But I had much more in store for this piece I took of the top hutch part as well as the doors and sanded them down with a sand paper grit 120,220 and 320. Waterfall Dresser Makeover - Veneer Repair
A Webb Furniture Co. treasure from the 1930’s or 40’s just left for trash. I think she was meant to be mine! This dresser or chest of drawers was in such bad shape and smelled awful, but a lot of time and energy made her pretty again. I love her, and even though I have nowhere to put her, I am keeping her. ❤️❤️ What do you think? Can you believe it’s the same piece that I found on the side of the road last August? #furniturerestoration #vintagefurniture #trashtotreasure #furnituremakeove...
How to get clean, crisp paint lines!
When doing a design on your projects using painters tape make sure to paint a thin coat of some sort of clear coat. Im using water base polyurethane by behr in this video. This will ensure that paint will bot bleed through under the tape. I also used zinsser 123 primer before my paint and used dark secret by behr for the paint color. You can also use the same method for a wall design just use the wall color paint instead of the clear coat! • • • • • • #diy #diyfurnitureideas…
