Puffer fish art
The author of these amazing formations, almost 2 meters wide, was a newly discovered species of puffer fish measuring no more than 12 centimeters. Subsequent studies determined that they were ornate circles to attract mating partners. Males spend six weeks building these "crop circles" underwater just to mate for a few seconds. To make them, he gathers fine sand in mounds and decorates them with seashells he finds. If he is lucky, the willing female will stand in the center of the circle to indicate approval for mating. If not, the ocean current will carry away his work of art. 🐟

Histioteuthis heteropsis, the strawberry squid
a species of small cock-eyed squid.[2] The scientific nomenclature of these squid stems from their set of differently sized eyes, one being small and blue and the other being large and yellow. It is thought that the large eye is used to see objects against dim light, while the smaller eye is more able to view bioluminescent light sources.[3] The squid's vernacular name arose due to its rich red skin pigmentation and the presence of photophores along its body, making it appear like a strawberry with seeds.[2]
Elysia chlorotica (eastern emerald elysia)
the first animal known to photosynthesize like a plant. By feeding on algae (Vaucheria litorea), it absorbs and stores chloroplasts in its cells, allowing it to convert sunlight into energy. Some individuals can even go without eating for up to a year, surviving solely on sunlight.
