Prime Rib Roast . 1 Bone In Prime Rib (1 lb per person) 1 tsp of Salt Per Pound 3-4Tbsp of @charcrust Original Hickory Rub . The night before cooking, pat the prime rib dry, and cover with the correct amount of salt per pound. Place on a cooling rack, uncovered, in the fridge. Remove the prime rib 1-2 hours before cooking and season with the Char Crust seasoning 30 minutes before cooking. Place in the middle rack of a 500 degree oven and roast for 15 minutes, before turning the heat down to 325. Cook for 12 minutes per pound and allow it to rest for 20-30 minutes before slicing (a roast over 8 pounds should rest for 40 minutes). Slice and enjoy! . #Rib
