One Word Poster project, pick a word and represent that word, Fracture meaning broken, snapped when things are broken we look at things in an X-Ray way and even the typography is broken, the first project I did at University
Being a student and seeing grands and grands of cash in your account you tend to go crazy on buying things that you want not what you need - I wish I was more sensible with my money.
I wish I was a better write, better at writing essays as part of my Contextual Studies.
I wish I had been a better student and stayed at Uni for the full day
I like how strong the type is within this design - I wish I had used a grid
Using just the simple Pen Tool and using different colours, being able to create a simple but yet beautiful typography.
iVector, a magazine that enables to teach fellow designers how to create vector based pictures using Adobe Illustrator tools, and creating such images as Cartoon Characters, Fancy Type, using tools such as the scatter brush tool and more, I created a magazine/ spreads and Posters for this project.
An advertising project to promote a new/ fresh way of promoting new music and artists/ bands. I would like to introduce you to Amplifi a new fresh way of discovering new music and also friends with the help of added social media also you will be able to re-create the wall of sound, as you will be able to stream across all platforms of devices such as Phone, Tablet and PC which believe it or not does not exist.
PLEASE CLICK TO ENLARGE - Visual Identity - We given a pool full of organisations that do exist I chosen to do Dull Mens Club, I made the design dull, but used funny expressions that dull men would say e.g I need to buy a pint of milk. So even though it looks boring I added humour to the text that makes it memorable.
Typography learning about composition, layout, anatomy of typography, colour and breaking the grid and rules.
This is a simple idea of how I like to work drawing ideas and a variety of ideas in a layout pad or sketch box and using my method of development - Research/ Planning - Ideas/ Development - Consultation with clients which helps me progress my ideas to a final outcome.
Advertising/ Promoting - Healthy Eating - A slightly reverse approach, imagine a juicy burger in its box with chips scattered around it anyone and most likely everybody will be hooked into wanting it, which is the beauty of advertising, I used this method but replacing the chips to carrots and burger to apple, beans, leaks to make the healthy look tasty! - Using Photography.
Century Schoolbook Typeface Promotion Poster - The typeface that I admire which is "Century Schoolbook" was later designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1919 who is also an American Typographer. With this design I used pastels, drawings and digitally scanned them into Adobe Photoshop and then enhanced the colours and embedded a black textured paper which was also scanned, I then simply blended the two together using the opacity tool.
