Glycolysis Cycle

Glycolysis is when a glucose (6 carbon molecules) splits into 2 pyruvate (3 carbon molecule. It is an oxidation reaction and results in 2 ATP, 2NADH, and 2 pyruvate. Note: this figure shows slow glycolysis.
