We were in the process of remodeling our home with a 1 year old baby who was learning how to walk and opening and closing every single drawer in the house. We were worried about him getting his hands on the TV and possibly injuring himself with the TV on a traditional entertainment center. This is how we came up with the idea of building our own entertainment center that we can decorate without our toddler taking things on and off or being able to climb on it. Now, everyone who comes over asks us to build them one! A fun idea is to stain it the same stain as your front door or accent pieces in your home. It creates a cohesive design throughout your home :)
