The stately, classic Regency stone fireplace, evoking the early 19th century English Regency era, can be done either with or without the overmantel. The fireplace features square plinths, legs that slightly curve out as they go up, with recessed paneling on their faces. The lintel is ornate, with the opening featuring gently curving corners, followed by several layers of curved molding, raised panels in either corner, and more layers of molding at the thin shelf piece. The overmantel continues the elegant design details, with 2 small scrolls on either side of the bottom of the overmantel, and with a stepped-out recessed panel running nearly the full height and width of the overmantel. The panel is topped by two concave corners. The crown molding also features several layers of molding. Custom sizes are available, allowing the overmantel to go up to the full height of the room's ceiling, if desired. This fireplace is shown here in limestone, but can also be done from marble. It would look very elegant in a Living Room, Library, or Great Room, or a high-ceiling Primary Bedroom.
