Located in Kent, Hever Castle was once the seat of the Boleyn family and today is a beautifully preserved museum. King Henry VIII’s second wife, Anne Boleyn, spent her early youth here, and the castle was later given to the kings’ fourth wife, Anne of Cleves, as a part of the divorce settlement. Today, it has all the ingredients of a fairy-tale get-away: beautifully preserved interiors, a moat, and stunning grounds with a hedge maze.
