Creating a mono print Using my sketch book as reference i’ve placed a piece of acetate over the drawing and painted the general information on then refined with brushes and tissue and cotton buds until I’m happy and printed onto damp paper using my etching press! I love the brush marks and energetic movements I can capture this way. Each print is a one off and special although I can use the staring point of my drawings each time and see where the ink takes me #drawing #artwork #printmak...

This is a drypoint etching of an old tree which I found in a wood in Suffolk. The print size is 34 x 23cm and it is printed with browny black ink on white paper which is 75 x 56cm. It is from an edition of just 15 prints and is signed and numbered.
