I got it. Filled it. Set up my phone. First day I got both notifications from the phone and the box. Ever since, it only beeps on the box. I was happy that still was working. It went off at 8am today on the box only and I took the AM pills but box is still flashing lights as if I didnt open it and take them. The App no longer works. It shows my pills, but I cant click on anything like to edit or see doses and time. I guess I'll uninstall the App and see if that works. But I'm bummed.

In regards to app functions not working, which on their own would have probably made this a 3-star review, I can't rename the EllieGrid, my sister and I both bought one and we can't tell the difference between our two products. Probably wouldn't be so annoying except that the app keeps disconnecting (can't find) the device on an almost daily basis. In regards to functionality, there is no way to snooze reminders, not all pills require being taken at a specific time, and no, I am not willing to have an alarm sound for 4 hours to create a window of pill-popping opportunity (see MediSafe if you are unable to visualize snoozing medication alarms). The things I don't like also make this a middle-meh sort of app, so another 3-stars... down to 1-star because really, a device with a $150 price tag should have a rocking awesome app not a middling-meh app.

The concept is great, but the execution of the app prevents this from being a usable product. The app is buggy, often doesn't connect to the pill box (which prevents you from getting reminders/tracking - which is literally the value prop of the entire product), has issues with tracking adherence to multiple medications at the same time. The whole thing works over Bluetooth and not wifi, which, if you've ever used Bluetooth for anything, you know is not reliable.
