I like the simplicity of the game I believe thats something the makers aimed to achieve but I believe if they implement more interesting updates they will get more players and so I think they should do a really big update in terms of more stuff to interact with like adding duels or dungeon or challenges give you different currencys and that can be used to buy different upgrades. The Demonized is a a game that displays this type of gameplay

You have to watch an ad to do essentially anything other than merge swords together and watch your character spin. If gold could be used to do more things in-game (like summons, potions), I'd be inclined to give it another try.
