Potentially one of the best platfromers Ive ever played. You can really tell this was a labor of love for the devs, especially the hysterical dialogue. (Still makes me laugh at how stupid Mombo looks and the supporting characters and main boss don't miss any opportunities to remind you of that). Basically every aspect that makes a great game was added. If I were to gripe it would be the controls. Made me die at the most crucial moments that I was foaming at the mouth and punching the air.

Talk about a platformer. It's got challenge, upgrades, secrets, collection, a whole world full of comedic characters to meet or save, feels both old-school and new-school! This is such a fun find and so glad I did as it's got a lot of charm to it's looks and story (I mean Mombo isn't even aware he's a hero, just having fun). Having a ball with it and only one world in, And already finding new abilities with a 'kind of' Metroidvania feel for the secrets, boss battles, and even challenge rooms.

The game is phenomenal, the colorful theme adds to its coolness. It looks like a children's game, yet the gameplay says otherwise. And the twist at the end is funny yet unpredictably marvelous. I'd say its five stars since its one of the only gems out there that's not payed or pay-to-win while being better than most of them.
