Colombian label Plasmodia presents BIO +: a vibrant sonic ecosystem of 9 tracks that mirrors the diverse musical landscapes thriving across the Latin American electronic scene.

This compilation brings together dynamic fusions from the exchanges between global and local sounds. Pulsating energy of raptor house, hybrids of cumbia-club beats and cuts driven by trembling basslines over rolling tresillo patterns are part of this ongoing collage.

Each track can be interpreted as a photograph of the continent’s evolving electronic soundscape and spotlights different shades of bold experimentation and rhythmic complexity behind the region’s current electronic music ecosystem.

El sello colombiano Plasmodia presenta BIO +: un vibrante ecosistema sonoro de 9 temas que refleja los diversos paisajes musicales que prosperan en la escena electrónica latinoamericana.

Esta compilación reúne fusiones dinámicas de los intercambios entre sonidos globales y locales. La energía pulsante del raptor house, los híbridos de ritmos de cumbia y club y los cortes impulsados por líneas de bajo temblorosas sobre patrones de tresillo ondulantes son parte de este collage en curso.

Cada tema puede interpretarse como una fotografía del cambiante paisaje sonoro electrónico del continente y destaca diferentes matices de experimentación intrépida y complejidad rítmica detrás del ecosistema de música electrónica actual de la región.
