These pictures bring before the spectators the hundreds of different types of cruisers and sailing vessels owned and sailed by members of the club. In addition, the film presents many scenes taken in connection with the races run under the auspices of the club with almost every type of sailing vessels participating. Incidentally, these scenes are replete with thrilling scenes, the weather at the time the pictures was taken causing a heavy sea, which made it exceedingly uncomfortable for the skippers, despite their prowess. Another part of this release is devoted to pictures showing the "city farmers" of New York at work on the various plots of ground side for cultivation. These pictures clearly prove that despite the fact that they are city dwellers nevertheless they can cut the cost of living to a very small margin even by the cultivation of only a few square yards of earth.
