This film it set in the middle of 9th century Britain and covers a bloody encounter between two Saxon men and a marauding band of war hungry Vikings. Our hero Ryce is low born. His grandfather fought in the king's army and trained him from the tender age of 8 to wield hand axes to a magnificent ability. He is faster, stronger and a better fighter than any man, and his years of training have prepared him fully as he seeks vengeance for the death of his father and grandmother from the invading Viking hordes that are spreading across the country like a virus. On one afternoon while out hunting with his grandfather, they are crossed by a group of these pillaging, evil warriors and a battle rages.
