He has managed to create a niche for himself quite early in career, through his powerful and original writings. This is one of the reasons why Anjali is attracted towards him. Anjali is Abhijit's boss and the editor of the magazine. She is a smart, young, no-nonsense woman and a tough boss. But somehow Abhijit manages to push the envelope time again and again while working on any story. Though both of them try to keep their personal and professional life apart, more often than not Anjali finds herself in tricky position at work because of him. Sridhar Rajan, head of a non-government organization & a very popular figure in Majuli in Assam - was abducted by a local terrorist organization about six years back. The story received widespread media coverage at that time. Sridhar Rajan is not yet 'officially dead' since his body is not found- although it is accepted fact amongst most that he is killed by the terrorist. See less
