On a mundane evening, a young man (who has come to India on a vacation from his job abroad) comes to meet his classical music teacher, only to discover that his Guru has lost all interest in life, has stopped taking food and has stopped speaking to people. His wife and their servant seem to have figured out their own ways to deal with this rather grim truth.
