Our protagonist is projected onto a void space that denotes his isolation, despite all of his efforts to make his mark in society, as demonstrated by cuts to the various urban landscapes and characters he interacts with. Cue Tim: Tim wants to stand out and be noticed. To achieve this, he works pretty damn hard to be extraordinary, because extraordinary people make extraordinary connections and lead extraordinary lives. But Tim doesn't get noticed. What's more, despite all his efforts, he is painfully invisible. Faced with this impossible conundrum, Tim seeks out death as the only way to set his life apart from the grain. What he doesn't realize is that in an effort to be something he isn't, he failed to be the one thing that he actually is. When Tim is gone there will never again be another Tim; unique by definition of his existence. Cue Audrey.
