Her lover Kanato was a big help for her both mentally and physically, but he suddenly went missing and her life became dissolute as a result. Now, her friend Aya often visits Yukie to help her daily chores, and with her help, Aya finds that all the words Kanato gave Aya and supported her mentally were from the books about mind controlling. Following Kanato's footprints, Aya finally finds that he has started a cult and become a guru... Reflecting the darkness in Yukie's mind, this film wears dense and gloomy atomosphere all through. However, what it tries to evoke is the importance of living through the difficulties in life. Yukie was Kanato's test subject of mind controlling, and by facing the fact, and facing death, she finds life. The lead actress Ayaka Adachi acts the character very freshly and poignantly. See less
