She thinks that she is still Syed by her father Shahabuddin. But she listens Hyder and her father's conversation that he says him that Shehla is not his daughter but she was adopted by him somewhere. So Shehla is not 'Syed' and so Hyder is not her cousin and she cannot marry him on 'Syed' controversy. Her father marries Shehla with his friend Mairaj's son Malik Mansoor, a egoistic who is in love with Shiza. He makes physical hands on her which forces her to go out of Mansoor. Peter, a Christian book seller comes on love of her and proposes her several times. She marries him after giving birth to Shafaq, Afaaq and Falak and days Shafaq to become head on her siblings. Falak does initially on drugging. After one year Shehla becomes pregnant but Peter doesn't give her permission so he kicks her from house.
