Started accidentally by some suburban middle schoolers who had their Huffy bikes stolen by the cool kids, it quickly became a sensation. Instead of empty pools, these law abiding citizens would look for empty stairwells and unparked on curbs. But just as their hobby was becoming a movement, a terrible accident proved to be a major setback. Now, as they reflect on their journey, the trailblazers of this "sport" ponder whether it was all worth it. See less
