The intervention of NATO troops and the end of the war. So the story is not about the war, but with its consequences that are worse than the war itself. Bekim, a soldier of the rebellious army UÇK (Kosovo Liberation Army), on the first day of his return to home (an average house), is ordered by his family (old parents) to send his wife back to her family, i.e. to get separated from her. He doesn't accept and with his wife he leaves their home to live in a basement somewhere in the capital town. His pregnant wife was raped by Serbian paramilitaries, the enemy of the rebel soldier.
