The scene opens with the continuation of a newly discovered badly mangled body of a large man lying on the ground. Police officer SGT Coleman (Antagonist) is standing over and examining the body for evidence. Three days later a group of college kids is hiking through the woods on a dark evening, suddenly out of nowhere they are snatched into the darkness, RODASH (Protagonist) of the film appears, his immense and frightening appearance from within the darkness scares the college kids and a desperate chaste begins through the woods and lake as the suspenseful background music builds.
