Schubert first examines her tenant Tim Baumann, a young father who had to move out as the rent was increased excessively after 'energetic renovation'. Her dirty tricks were exposed in a local paper by a young journalist, who anonymously also runs a blog dealing with the real estate dealings. Reuther agrees to meet a old lawyer friend, Wolfgang Esbach, who notarized most deals, but he's murdered at home and his wife, whom adult son Moritz confides is a ruthless career bitch 'behind the throne', also his suspicious Russian contacts. The first murderer, a hired martial artist, was eliminated by a fearless pro hit-man, who escapes Schubert shooting.
