When he gees home for a rest, Lovey puts him right to work cleaning house. He hammers rugs on the line and then paints the floor, finishing in the center of the room so that he has to hang on the chandelier to keep from stepping on the paint. Snookums walks over the wet paint and Dovey on the chandelier is powerless to stop the baby from sitting down in it, leaving his diapers, sticking to the floor. The chandelier then breaks and the job is spoiled. Snookums sees a moving man filling a van. He gets into a crib which is hoisted to the top of the pile. The truck drives off with Snookums sitting up in the crib having the time of his life. Lovey and Dovey, seeing from the house, dash out and follow in a car. A rope thrown from the speeding car to the truck ahead is the slack bridge on which Dovey attempts to reach his child. He gets to the driver at last and pays him to stop so the baby can sleep. The truck stops in the center of city traffic and hundreds of motorists protest, but the fond father refuses to move until the baby has had his nap. Written by
